Rennie Welcomes Finance Sector Jobs Task Force

Dunfermline and West Fife MP Willie Rennie has welcomed the Scottish Government's announcement that they will introduce a new Finance Sector Jobs Task Force as good news for finance employment in the Kingdom.

Commenting Mr Rennie said:

"Tax payers will find it hard to understand why their money is being blown on bonuses and redundancy pay outs.

"'Sorry' won't be much comfort to the thousands of financial workers who will find themselves out of a job.

"Our campaign for a new Finance Sector Jobs Task Force has been entirely vindicated today. I am pleased that there is now a new, active initiative in place to help the latest casualties of Labour's banking botch-up."
