Rennie to Join Sharon Gayter in World Record Attempt

Willie Rennie, MP for Dunfermline and West Fife is to run with Sharon Gayter as she attempts to break the world record for running from Lands End to John O Groats. Sharon's route takes her through part of the constituency and as a keen runner, Mr Rennie is delighted to be able to join in the effort. The current world record stands at 13 days and 10 hours, set some 10 years ago. Sharon hopes to raise a substantial amount of money along the way, all of which will be donated to Asthma UK.
Willie Rennie commented:
"Sharon has been a high calibre runner for many years now and I am sure she will be successful in her record attempt.
"Asthma UK is a fantastic charity and I am very pleased that all the money Sharon raises will be going to an excellent cause."
