Willie Rennie appointed to Lib Dem Defence Team

Willie Rennie and Menzies CampbellDunfermline and West Fife's new MP, Willie Rennie, has been appointed to the Liberal Democrat Defence Team. The move was announced by the Party Leader Menzies Campbell.

Commenting on the appointment, the Liberal Democrat leader said:

"Willie Rennie has great energy, a sharp mind and the ability to communicate. I am confident that he will be an excellent member of my defence team."

Willie Rennie said that he is looking forward to the new job.

"It is a great opportunity. Defence makes a significant contribution to Dunfermline and West Fife. I am relishing the chance to engage in the important decisions that face us in the years ahead."
