The Dunfermline Liberal Democrats have selected James Calder as the candidate for the Dunfermline South Council by-election on May 7th. James, who lives and works locally for a small IT business, has been an active member of the Liberal Democrats for several years and is focussed on serving the interests of local people and improving the area.
James has declared ‘I am really excited to be standing in election in Dunfermline South. I have lived in Dunfermline for most of my life and would really like to opportunity to do my bit to help out. If given the chance, I would work tirelessly to represent the interests of the people of Dunfermline South in Fife Council.
Tony Martin, sitting Liberal Democrat councillor for Dunfermline South, has commented ‘James has demonstrated with his hard work for the No Campaign and his successes om campaigning for Dunfermline that he will make an excellent councillor for Dunfermline South. I urge voters to support him.’
